Our textbook says that people have different perspectives on different words and that we should watch we say not to offend anyone during our speech. There was one comment that really stood out to me in the Flickr discussion it was by Rippie:Contra Censura! He said something that languages change slowly when people use them, which I believe is true because the more we use a word the more meanings are put towards that word. Then it gives more people to take it offensive. It all depends on the person and how they interpret it. People have different perspectives everyone has different views.
