Persuading others
When I was at work today I had to convince a customer to spend at least three hundred dollars so they could get our promotion that was going on. Our promotion was you spend three hundred dollars you get one hundred dollars off. So I had to tell her by spending seventy five more dollars you can get one hundred dollars off and it’s like getting the top, shoes or a dress whatever they choose to be free. I think I was using casual reasoning because I was telling her that she would save money if she spent just a little more and my reasoning worked she went for the three hundred and saved a hundred.

hey sheryl,
ReplyDeletei want to know, did you make the sale? haha well that seems very hard to do. trying to persuade someone into spending $300? i already have a hard time with my job where i have to persuade store owners to let me put posters on their window. i usually tell them all the benefits for letting me put the sign up even though its a lie. hey it seems to work sometimes. im pretty sure you did a good job though. but yes i agree with you that you were using casual reasoning. haha i guess i didnt read the last part but good job on the sale. by the way, where do you work?
